We’re delighted to have our great friend and champion

Our 2026 Donald A. Brown Rose Award Recipient
DIANE MURRAY
Woodley House Board Vice President | Former Executive, SourceAmerica and Northrop Grumman
We’re thrilled to honor our longtime board member Diane Murray with this year’s Rose Award, recognizing her dedication to Woodley House and the people we serve. Along with Diane’s decades of leadership in the D.C. region’s business and technology sector, she has added immeasurably to the quality of life for so many in our community.
Diane is enjoying retirement after serving as Assistant Vice President in the Strategy and Innovation Division at SourceAmerica, where she developed business plans to provide employment for people with disabilities. Prior to joining SourceAmerica, Diane held multiple leadership roles over 32 years at Northrop Grumman.
In addition to her role as vice president of Woodley House’s Board of Directors, Diane has served as vice chairman of the Board of Directors for ServiceSource, a nonprofit providing services to people with disabilities, and on Penn State University’s Women in Engineering Advisory Board.
Diane has been honored by the Computerworld Premier 100 Technology Leader Awards and the National Women of Color Technology Leadership Awards; she also was profiled as one of seven women in the National Science Foundation film, “Science: Women’s Work.” She holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Spelman College and a master’s degree in operations research from Cornell University.
Having more time to travel, read, and participate in exercise classes has been fun for Diane in retirement. But being “Grandma” to her 5 grandchildren, all of whom live locally, is what brings her the most joy.
